Our social skills "ABA" camp is individually designed to provide your child with enriching learning experiences that lead to meaningful social relationships. Your child will participate in a wide variety of recreational learning activities to practice social skills, life skills, make new friends and have fun! Program activities and skill domains include: Cognitive, Motor, Social and Functional Communication skills.

Our social skills learning model is based on the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. In teaching functional communication we utilize Verbal Behavior based on B.F.Skinner's research and the function of language.

At enrollment each student is provided an individual comprehensive social skill assessment to identify the learners needs, develop an individualized student program  to include appropriate curricula for each social skill lesson.

Our highly trained ABA therapists implement instructional procedures based on: social motivation, rewarding social development, reinforcing social responses, treating interfering behaviors and provide opportunities for skill generalization.

We provide instruction through social stories, role play, thinking and feeling activities based upon empirical research. We work towards making socially significant behavior change measuring effective interventions based on each students data recording system.

Our instructional format includes individualized, small and/or whole group instruction as appropriate based on the learners needs.

Some of our camp environments we include to support generalization of skills: amusement parks, water parks, swimming and recreational parks, visits in the community to include: firehouse, police station, ice cream parlor, pizza restaurants, creating a multitude of experiences for each learner and opportunities for appropriate responding as a result of our three tiered teaching approach (Direct Instruction, Peer interaction and Social Feedback)

Some of our peer interaction target behavior skills include: joint attention, maintaining conversation, functional communication, taking perspective, appropriate play, turn taking, waiting turn, controlling emotional expressions, negotiating conflict.
